Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

If you head back into Soleil town, and if you enter the big house in the lower-right section of town, he'll tell you he can't get back to his house in Dahlia Valley, because he doesn't have the sword-throwing ability...so head west to Dahlia Valley. |
| Continue climbing up the mountain until you reach these vines. Climb them. |  |

Head left, ignoring the steps, and go up between the mountain walls and you'll reach this area. Throw your sword straight ahead. |
| You'll be transported to this house. Before entering, slash open the boxes, as they contain apples. |  |

The Wolf will attack by spinning various items around himself. Just throw your sword at him until he dies (after 4 hits). |
| Nothing much to add here. I'm just demonstrating the Wolf's extreme potty mouth. |  |

Go back to Soleil Town and head to the far west part, and keep going to reach the plaza. |
| Continue heading east, and in the first of two houses, you'll have an opportunity to buy an Apple of Life for 800 Malins. I'm sure you can't afford it now, but be sure to come back when you can. |  |

In the other house is a fortune teller who will allow you to talk to animals and plants, but take away your ability to talk to humans. |

Apparently, people are so disgusted at your inability to understand them that they shout obscenities at you when you attempt to converse. |
| Since you can now talk to your faithful dog Mac, do so, and he'll join you. If you equip him and press C, he'll stop where he's at, and hold any enemy that touches him still. |  |

Go back to Dahlia Valley and climb all the way to the top. Continue talking to the rabbit until he is convinced to help you. |
| He'll throw you on a little island, and you'll gain the courage to jump. Press B to do so. |  |

Leave Dahlia Valley and head back to Soleil Town. Go west and you'll reach this flower field. Jump in the spot illustrated by the picture (it is a flower spinning the wrong way). |
| A bridge will form that leads you to an Apple of Life! |  |

Now, go to the plaza. In the north-eastern corner of the plaza, there are two rocks on the northern side of the fence. The post directly under the right rock can be jumped on. Jump on it 31 times, and you'll push it down. Now, make your way to the left to find three money bags under the rocks. |
