I'm gonna try not to give away the story!

Act 1 - Model 4649

Act 1 is just a tutorial, I think you're all smart people, so you can follow the simple directions, right?

Act 2 - Help Gijin no. 46!

You'll see the Gichuu harassing Gijin 46. Raise your arm strength with the barbell. Practice with the ball, if he throws it praise him. If he doesn't, scold him and try again. I think you have to train him until he says "Take that!" and he throws the ball really hard. Then, go help Gijin no. 46. Pino will throw the ball at the Gichuu and end the act. If Gichuu dodges it you get to try again.

Act 3 - Old Fam's Farm

For this act, you need to do three things: show kindness to animals, learn to use a hoe, and use seeds.

Go outside and talk to the dog. If your kindness goes up after you talk to it (check the Status Screen), praise him. Scold Pino if he doesn't get it. If he still doesn't get it, go inside and do something else. To use the hoe, you need to practice with the stick. Make him use it like he is doing a jumping slash, then praise him until he masters it. Then buy a hoe and seeds at the Corlo Town Shop.

Now practice with the hoe until he uses it like the stick. To be able to use the seeds, go upstairs and read the grammar book to raise your intelligence, then try using the seeds. Remember, it takes a lot of intelligence. If Pino does everything right, go to the farm. Pino will hoe the field and plant the seeds. This awakens the Love of Nature heart circuit and ends the act.

Act 4 - Do your best, Model 4649!

Now you need to train for the sportsfest. The first event is the foot race. Use the soccerball in the Corlo forest to train. Raise your leg power to 99, then go right a few screens and have Pino kick the rock. You'll get the Turtle charm which will raise your luck if you pray to it. Now enter the Racetrack. Also, make sure you save first if you lose. You'll win 5000 Corlo and a trophy. Rest and save.

For the next event is the shot put contest. Raise your arm power to 99 then enter the contest. You'll win easily. You'll win another 5000 Corlo and a trophy.

The next event, the hole-in-one, you need to learn how to use a golf club, so buy one at the shop. Teach Pino how to use it. Make sure to up his balance and luck as well. To raise your luck, pray to the turtle charm. No need to raise it to the max, just over 50-60. Try different values, because the hole-in-one depends on luck. You'll win another 5000 Corlo and a trophy. Next up is the free kick contest. Easy if you still have 99 leg power and trained with the soccer ball. You'll get another 5000 Corlo and a trophy. The Prime Minister will award you the title of sports king. Now that you're the sports king, you've awakened the Love of Sports heart circuit. If you go back to the racetrack, Pino will tell the truth to the referee. The poor guy's dream gets crushed. :p Anyway, your next stop is the pier.

You need to do three tasks: play the trumpet, read the encyclopedia, use a sword and open a treasure box. Buy a trumpet, the picture book and encyclopedia, and the treasure box and a sword. You need to use the sword, like the stick/hoe. To open the chest, you need to raise your intelligence.

Sometimes Pino will eat the chest, scold him before he does! To play the trumpet, you need sensitivity. To raise this, you can just have Pino use the trumpet, or go upstairs in his house and have him sing on the desk. You can also pray to the turtle god.

When you can do everything, go to the pier. You need to play the trumpet three times in a row. You can just sleep after you play it for one day. Also, buy an A-Charger from the shop, just in case. On the third day, Gamechi's friend Add will come. They'll make you leave, but come back anyway. Add will offer you to find the treasure of Tonga. You can do what he asks if you trained enough.

What happens next depends on your luck; you might get lost for a few days and bring back items or money, or you will find the island. Raise your luck by praying to the turtle charm. If you're going for a high ranking, save first, because if you get lost it adds ten days to your total. From the start, take the first stairs you see. Take again the next staircase for an A charger, go back to the second staircase and go right for another staircase to get a sword, then return all the way back to the staircase by the start. Go all the way left, take the stairs, go left and take the stairs. Go to the rightmost staircase, then just follow the path to the treasure. This will awaken the Adventurous Spirit heart circuit!

Act 5 - Messala's Test

This is going to be a toughie. You need to take the training test at the palace. First of all, raise your attack, defense, and confidence A LOT. Raise your defense with the turtle charm. Try to make it 99, since it's the most important stat for the fight. Lastly, if the girl won't let you pass, it's probably you're aggression. Lower it a bit. After you're done, use a couple of A-Chargers to up your hp, then go to the palace. Don't forget to save!

There will be a couple of fights at the castle. First a Gijin#481. If Pino runs away, your probably too kind... Gijin 481 has 100 HP, too easy.

Your next fight is Jeanne, the girl at the entrance with 200 HP. If you have a very high attack and defense, still easy.

Your next opponent is Gardy. He has 500 HP, and has a high attack. This is where it gets tough. It helps if you have HP greater than 500. I hope you saved! After you beat him, you will have activated the "Sometimes You have To Fight" heart circuit.

Act 6 - The circus has arrived!

This is another multi-part acts. Your first stop should be the back alley. Check the bulletin board for things to do. Search the trash heap (click on the gear) and you'll find Corlo's cane (the best weapon in the game), a C-charger and a B-Charger.

Your next stop is Mimi's Cafe. She'll give you sheet music and some money. Now, practice and get lots of money. I recommend accumulating money until you can buy the circus ball, 4-A chargers, and a lot of extra money if you wish to buy anything else like Mori-Mori fruit or some chips. Trust me, do it now while you still can. You can practice singing upstairs at your desk. If you keep using the sheet music eventually you will sing just like Mimi, and get paid a lot of Corlo. If you visit the cafe again, you will find out that Mimi's been arrested for treason. NOOOOOO! THE FREE CORLO!

Your next task is to perform at the circus. So go to town and buy a circus ball. Go to the forest and train your balance on the log bridge, and learn how to use the circus ball. When you're ready go to the circus. After your great performance, you will have activated the "Make Others Happy" heart circuit!

If you haven't gone back to Mimi's yet, go. The soldiers there have arrested Mimi for treason! Kill Kill Kill!!! You must rescue Mimi, but you're gonna need some help...

Act 7 - The Great Rescue Plan

You'll see a small scene concerning Lynx, the Robin Hood of Gijin. It also talks about Lynx's partners, Rob and Ber. Maybe they can help you sneak into the castle...

Your first stop is the back alley. The police man is gone so you can enter the door. Inside are Rob and Ber. To get them to help you, you need to startle the police man. The only tool you have is a rubber ball. So this time, if Pino throws the ball, scold him. If he turns his head around and says something about "the sign of a Gijin," praise him until he masters it. The police man will run off and you have succeded.

Now you need to steal something from the item shop. You need to be able to open doors properly. You'll need to have a high intelligence to open the doors at the item shop, so good luck. You'll need confidence and leg power to jump the hole in the floor too, I think.

After that you'll meet Lynx. After explaining your cause to Lynx, she'll agree to help you. She'll give you time to prepare. Buy whatever you need, train what stats you need like attack and defense, some leg and arm power to climb ropes. Build your confidence too, because Pino might get scared and run away while climbing the rope. When you're ready, go back to the back alley.

Don't worry, you're gonna let Pino do this on his own so, if you have good stats you'll be fine. Pino will fight another Gijin and pick a lock along the way. I don't think Pino will worry about the Gijin looking like Gijin #46. You'll have rescued Mimi, but due to Pino's gluttony, Messala discovers Pino. Fortunately, Lynx comes to bail you out. Mimi will tell you something about Mesalla's plans. Giryuu?

Act 8 - Gijin Model 4630 Giryuu

From the scene, you should know that your next stop is the mine. To open the door, you need to re-learn how to open doors. If you shout, praise him. Use a couple of chargers, because your next enemy is tough. Raise your attack and defense parameters, and others that are benefecial to fighting. Also make sure that Pino knows how to pray to the turtle god in the corlo forest. Leg power and balance are also key.

Giryuu 999 HP

You'll be using a Corlo Sword in this fight, so that makes it easier a bit, I think. Anyway, you need a high HP as usual, maybe 500. After defeating it you have awakened the Courageous Soul heart circuit!

Act 9 - Queen Tiffany

Before you do anything, brush up on your singing skills, like kindness, sensitivity, expression, and feeling. Increase your confidence, and make sure Pino can still climb ropes. Make sure you have flowers as well. If Pino rotates his head when you use the flowers, praise him.

Now you need to try and sneak into the castle. So go to the forest and read the tablet. Worship the turtle. A rope will drop down. Go to the right for a Corlo's sword, and proceed to the left. Take the staircase down. Proceed to the 2nd staircase from the right to get a Confidence Aid. Go back to where you started, and go to the 3rd staircase from the right to get an A-Charger. Go to the last staircase. Go to the first staircase you see to get a Green chip. Then proceed to the remaining staircase to exit. Climb the rope, and watch the scenes. You will have activated the Love for Others Heart Circuit! Circuit J has been awakened!

Act 10 - Immortality at Corlo Island

You don't do anything here. Just watch all of the scenes. Now, you have a choice to play again, but this time with a ranking. If you finish this mode, you will see the real ending.

Winning Evaluation Mode

The key to finishing the evaluation mode is not to sleep, unless you're in Act 4 where you absolutely need to sleep. Use A-chargers. It should be easy to buy all the stuff you need because you start with the money you had in your previous game.
