The Volcano

Now, to the second fiend, the Fiend of Fire , to Crescent Lake . To get to Crescent
Lake , go south along the external coast of the main continent (where you were ) . You'll
go past Elfland . Stop there and refill your potions. Buy some soft potions as well ,
you're going to need 'em. Go the same way you were going . Unload at the next dock . it's
big and rectangular . Go south on foot from the and go back up towards the mainland when
you go past the lake . Go into the town .If you buy anything here and keep it over what I told you to buy earlier , you are the
world's biggest idiot . Kick your own as now . It's silver , of course it's
expensive!!But its pure crap! Just buy the magics Soft , Exit , inv2 and Lit3 .

| Go to the right of the village to meet the circle of sages. You'll learn a lot about the world of FF1 here and you'll also get the Canoe.
With the Canoe, you could also go to the ice cave and the castle of ordeal for upgrades. Of course, you'd need to gain a couple of levels, but you would
kick major ass in the Volcano.

That's the Volcano. As you can see, I chose to do
the Upgrades quest first. Much simpler. I don't have to go through
the maze of rivers again. |
| You'll start in the crater and walk your way down.
|

There's nothing too special really. There are a lot of chests in the Volcano, so be sure to get em on your way down. You can also fight Fires,
the Gurgu volcano's equivalent of Earths.

| You should be attacked at this spot. That's the place you have to go through to get to Kary.
|

She's pissed off... Beware of her cheezy puns. Use STUN against her. Its useful.
