Description: Welcome to the world of Dragon Warrior III. You are the hero, not so surprisingly, and you start your adventure by waking up on your sixteenth birthday. Your mother addresses you with a summons to see the King of Aliahan, the city in which you live. You are being summoned in response to a petition you set forth, a request to follow in the footsteps of your father, the fallen warrior, Ortega. The King grants this request, and gives you 50 GP for your adventure. He also suggests you visit Luisa's Eatery and gather some companions for your adventure. Luisa's Eatery is, as the game describes it, a place where adventurers meet, gather, or part with companions. Upon arriving in Luisa's Eatery, you'll discover that there are three people waiting for you: a Soldier, a Pilgrim, and a Wizard. This is your reccommended starting party. If you've never played Dragon Warrior III before, I suggest you just take these people and leave. If you don't like this party, or if you don't like these people's names, you can head upstairs to the Hall of Registration. The Hall of Registration allows you to create your own new characters of any job class (other than Hero or Sage). Once you've made your perfect party, there's not much to do but go outside and fight monsters. I would suggest staying on this side of the bridge until you've reached level 3. During this time, you should make sure that all of your people have the best weapons and armor they can have at this point of the game. If you're looking to level up your Hero quickly, I'd suggest removing all other party members (at the Eatery), and fighting with him alone. When you've reached a tolerable level where the Black Ravens aren't much of a problem, move on to the village of Reeve.
