Crys' Adventure

The Return of Siren

Ayn and Sari give birth to a son named Crys. The enemies did not stop coming, but Sari and Ayn battled each without fail. Then, 20 years after Crys' birth, a messenger from Azura comes and says that Siren has returned and plans revenge by sending the ship into the Sun. Ayn tells Crys to find help and defeat Siren before they go into the sun. Crys takes Mieu and Wren with him.

Of all the ending characters, Crys is the strongest. But, unlike the other 3 enders, he cannot use healing magic, thus making this the toughest ending. Exit Landen and head west across the bridge to Satera. There is nothing there, as it has been destroyed by Lune. Head southwest from there and around the lake until you find a cave. Enter it. The treasures here are not worth getting. Head down all the way then left all the way. Go up and take the 1st left. Go down and left all the way to the exit.

Finding Help

Head southwest to the town of Divisia. Rest up there and stock up on Dimate. In order to get to the other side, you have to go through the castle dungeon. Enter the castle and you will hear of the last pilot alive named Rulakir. Go to the throneroom and take the stairs to the left. There are no monsters so take your time here. To exit, go up and right from the stairs and take the left and follow when you come to it. Exit the dungeon and the castle. Save here and exit. Head north from town beyond the treeline. Head west and at the end, go south. Hug the east side of the river and follow south to a cave. This is the old Rebel's Cave, which is now abandoned. Enter. The items in here are not worth getting except for one. From the entrance, go up and take the right path. Follow until you reach a chest with a Hunting Bandanna. Head down from there and at the bottom head left. The bottom chest contain Sub Parts for Wren. Once you have these, exit.

Head back to Divisia. Rest and save. Head back to Landen via passage. Rest and head to Aridia via passage. Head to Hazatak and rest up. Hug the east side of the river and Wren will use his Sub Parts to turn into a Submersible. He takes the party to a hidden world within Aridia. Head west to the temple and head to the alter, where Laya (younger sister of THE Laya) appears. She tells of Laya leaving with a man with a black sword. She wants to know what happened to her sister, so she joins the party. Head back to Aridia.

Power of the Pendant

Rest up in Hazatak and alter Laya's Techs to Favor GiRes. Level up Laya a bit and then head southwest to a passage. Laya's Mystery Star will allow you in. From the entrance head left all the way until you reach a chest containing a Ceramic Bow. Give it to Laya and head left and down. At the fork, take a left and take the 1st down to the end. Head left to exit this passage. You should now be in Frigidia. Check your Monitor often to make sure of your location. What you are after is the town of Mystoke, which is in the big peninsula in the middle of the lake. Head west and work your way around the frozen lake to the peninsula. Go north to the town of Mystoke. Buy Laya a Laser Bow, but don't bother buying any armor yet. Rest up and save. Stock up on some Dimate and a few Trimates. When you are ready, head into the castle.

Go up until you hit a wall. Then go left and go up the row of trees at the end going up. Follow and when you come to a bunch of other rows of trees, take the next to last one. Take the stairs and into the dungeon. Go left and up and then left at the end to a stairway. Exit and go down the other stairs. Do this a few times until you can go down. Go down and into the area going right. Take the stairs and take the other stairs. Go right and take the lower stairway. Go down the other one and up the next one and you will soon have Laya's Pendant. Use Laya's Pendant and the voice of the older Laya will talk. She tells the truth, which is that Orakio and her were decieved while the war was going on by an evil force. She joins with Orakio to combat the evil force, and thus she leaves behind her pendant to her sister. Now with this, you can enter Laya's Temples and warp from world to world instead of going through caves. Use an Escapipe and rest in Mystoke.

The Other Moon

Head out of Mystoke. Remember that it is a long walk to where you want to go, so check your Monitor often. Head south from Mystoke and head west. At the end of the lake, head north. Weave around the mountains and enter the temple (make sure it is on the northwest corner of the world). Walk to the alter and it will warp you to Elysium. Head northwest past a bridge to the town of Aerone. Rest up and walk on the pathway going east. This will take you to a hanger.

Go up and at the end go left to the shuttle. The shuttle will blast off and take you to Dahlia, the purple moon. Talk around and they will say that Lune is depressed. Talk to Alair and she will say how her and Lune destoryed Satera, but are not behind the new attacks. Lune says that he regrets the trouble he has caused. They both ask to be forgiven. Talk to Kara, Lune's daughter, to the right. She will get mad and take her father's Slicer and join the party. Enter the dungeon to the left. Grab the Force Crown and Force Gear. Go left and down. Go around and head to the top. Head all the way right until you see a chest with Laconian Gear. Go a bit below it and grab the Laconian Bandanna. From there, go right and down. Take the 2nd right and go down to the bottom. Go left and grab the Laconian Crown. Hug the bottom and after you go past the large row, take the 1st path going up. Go right and follow to find some AeroParts for Wren. Exit.

The Legendary Weapons

Now that you have the Aero Parts, you can now fly when you see an airport. Head back to Frigidia via temple. From the temple, walk west a bit past a mountain chain then south to an airport. Fly to the island in the lake. This is New Mota. Buy Kara a Planar Slicer. Talk to the elders and they will tell of the story of the Alisa III. Before Palm (a planet in the other 3 Phantasy Star games) was destroyed by Dark Force, 400 ships left Palm. Dark Force then snuck into many ships and would destroy them before Orakio and Laya trap them on the Alisa III.

Rest up and stock up on Trimate. Head to the airport and fly to the floating building just a bit north of Mystoke. This is Skyhaven. There are no fights here yet, so enjoy the music and make your way to see the sages. They will tell you that the evil dwells within a floating city in Terminus and that the five weapons of legend can defeat him; Orakio's Sword, Miun's Claw, Siren's Shot, Laya's Bow and Lune's Slicer. They say to get the Aqua Parts from the dungeon and to visit Sage Island in Aquatica (though they say Draconia). Enter the dungeon. This dungeon is pretty complicated, as well as tough. From the entrance, head down and take the first left you come to. Follow to a fork and go down. Go left and up until you reach the end, then head down and left for a Moon Dew and Laconian Ribbon. Go right and down from there until you can see a chest in the corner. From there, go up to the top and go up and left. At the fork, go up for a Royal Crown and down for a Hunting Bow and the Aqua Parts. Once you have them, get out of there.

Warp back to Elysium and then to Landen. When you reach Landen from Elysium, go a bit northwest and hug the lake. When you see a dock, walk to it and Wren will turn into a Aquaskimmer. Now remember the sunken temple the old man told Rhys about at the beginning of the game. Go there and Wren will turn into a Submersible. Work your way into the temple. You will soon see a sword sticking out of the ground. This is Orakio's Sword. Crys will pull it out and Dark Force will appear and tell of his plans, then disappear. Crys then learns Megido.

Head to Aridia. Go to Hazatak and walk directly north until you see a person who looks a lot like Mieu. This is Miun. Talk to her. As you can see,she has been badly damaged and has been wandering Aridia for the last 1000 years. She will see see Orakio's Sword and mistake Crys for Orakio. She then collapses and leaves behind a chest containing Miun's Claw. Equip it on Mieu and rest up in Hazatak. Now you have 4 out of the 5 weapons, all that is left is Siren's Shot. But where are you going to find Siren?

Preparing for the Final Battle

Head to Aquatica via temple. Rest up at Agoe and stock up on Trimate. Turn into a Submersible and head east of Agoe to Sage Isle. Enter the cave. This is not too complex of a cave. Go all the way up to the top then take a right. Go down either of the 2 paths. At the far right is Siren. Talk to him and he will realize his mistake and will collapse and leave the Siren's Shot in the chest. Grab it. Head to the top and all the way left. Grab the Royal Shield and go right and take the 2nd path going down. These are the Sages of Sage Isle. Talk to each of them and you will learn the word of power, Nei. They then teach Mieu the Grantz technique, which like Megido, cannot do anything. Head out and return to Frigidia. Fly to Skyhaven and talk to the Counsel of Skyhaven. After talking to each of them, they will power up your weapons to the Nei power. You will have to re-equip them. Exit and buy a Planar Claw for Mieu in New Mota, and buy the Planar and Royal armors at the armor shop in Mystoke. This should be your final equipment list.

The Final Battles

Make sure to alter Mieu's techs to favor Rever. Load up on Trimate and head to Terminus (the lower right doom). Take the temple to get there. Head to the airport and fly to the east lake where the city of LaShute is. Unlike Skyhaven, this City is Evil. From the entrance, go up the stairs, left, up the stairs, right all the way and up the stairs. Go left, up the stairs, left, downt the stairs, left, down the stairs, left, and take the first stairs going up. Weave around the trees and down the stairs. Go left and up the looooooooooong stairway. Talk to Rulakir (Orakio's Twin Brother). He says that Dark Force owns his soul and he will attack.

This battle is not too tough, but it can be if not properly prepared. Have Crys, Mieu, and Kara take out the front row while Wren and Laya attack Rulakir. Rulakir's Tsu can do about 60 HP damage! Have Laya cast GiRes after this happens to prevent a death. Just keep on him for a while and Rulakir should eventually fall.

When Rulakir is defeated, his soul is finally free from Dark Force. He then dies. Exit and return to a town (I usually go to Lensol). Rest and stock up on Trimates. Head back to Lashute and go back to where you fought Rulakir. Go through the path to enter the final dungeon. From the stairs, go down and take the 2nd right from the bottom. Take the 1st path going up to the end. Go right and take the last path going up. Go right and take the 2nd down. Take the next right and go down to the bottom. Grab the Royal Gear for Wren and the Moon Dew. Make your way to the section above it. Use Trimates to completely restore your HP, then open the chest. Dark Force introduces himself then powers up for attack.

This is it, the final battle. Dark Force is pretty tough, as with any other Phantasy Star game. For the 1st time in the game, the battle music changes from the original 3 themes. The Right Arm uses a strong Foi spell, the Left Arm uses a very strong GiRes spell (about 200 HP per shot), and the body uses a very powerful Tsu spell (60 HP damage). Focus on the left arm first (the one on your right). It only has 300 HP, so it shouldn't last too long. Then attack the Right arm before it can do its damage. When both arms are gone, attack the body. If Dark Force uses Tsu, have Laya use GiRes and pray that it recovers enough HP. If somebody dies, have Mieu cast Rever and if she dies, I hope you have a Moon Dew. If your HP runs too low for GiRes, use a Star Mist if you have one (you should have found one in the Skyhaven Dungeon). Keep up the attacks. Because you only
have 2 healers, this will indeed be a difficult fight. If Dark Force just normally attacks (which is a rare case), just have either Laya or Kara use a Trimate on him. After 8000 HP, Dark Force will be defeated. Pat yourself on the back, you are done.

Dark Forces last words was that he so dearly wanted the ship to burn in the sun. He disappears saying that he will return in another 1000 years. Watch the ending scene which involves Crys' anger powering Megido and destroying the city.
