Ranqs to Shaia Lab 3

Head southeast after leaving the Elfrea shrine to Ranqs. There, all the men are working on the tunnel to the west so head there.
	No one can seem to get through so once you enter the main room of the tunnel head: Up 1, Right 2, Up 1, Right 2, Up 4, Left 3, Down 1, Left 2, Down 1, Left 2, Up 2, Right 1, Up 1, Right 2, and up to reach the stairs.
Walk southwest to Odel.
	In a building in northwest Odel, you'll learn of Arus which can be reached through the caves. However, you'll need to talk to Piron so that he can repair the bridges there. Head into the castle.
Talk to Piron in the throne room. He'll ask you to get part of his old crew in Lyden to the southeast. The man you're looking for should be in the restraunt he says. Now head southeast to Lyden.
	Talk to the man in the restraunt, and he'll report back to Piron in Odel Castle. Now head back there and talk to Piron who will send you to the Arus Cave to find the bridge.
This is the cave you're looking for- its on an island to the west of the others. Examine the bridge and return to Odel. Piron asks you to come with him back to the cave... thanks for the courteousy Piron...
	After arriving at the cave again, Piron asks to watch from the cliff with the treasure chests... This deserves a good 'ol "...". Leave the cave and head one of the caves to the east.
Once you're on the cliff, Piron quickly fixes the bridge and heads back to Odel. Now go BACK to that cave and cross the bridge. Head north and exit the cave. Now walk across the bridge and head east and follow the path until you reach some stairs down.
	Go north through the door.
Walk north and read the sign. After Jerin and our Hero try chanting the spell, Lufia steps up and chants it then the doors open. Head north through them.
	Head counter-clockwise along the passage and go up the stairs.
Head west and go up the stairs.
	Now walk north to Arus (finally).
The people of the town tell you that Professor Raile isn't here- of course not, that'd be too easy, eh?
	In the north of town, Lufia will admire the flowers. The old man is surprised you could get through the cave and tells you to meet the elder in the Tower of Grief to the west. Head there now through the small cave.
Once in the tower, head west and up the stairs.
	Head east and up the second set of stairs.
Head up either the southeast or northwestern stairs.
	Then take the next stairs up.
Walk northwest/southeast and go up the stairs.
	Talk to the Flake, the elder of Arus. He believes the Sinistrals are coming back. He'll also draw out some of Lufia's natural power increasing her MP by 10. It seems Raile had just left so head to Odel Castle.
Head to the western part of Odel Castle and go down the stairs to enter Shaia Lab 2.
	Raile has gone to Lab 1 so head down the stairs and then head east and step onto the teleporter.
Head south then west through the tunnel and south up the stairs to enter Lab 1.
	Head upstairs to meet Professor Raile Shaia. No one really believes its him though until he starts offering his strnage tonics.
Jerin and Lufia get into a little argument over each others hair... After that, Raile decides to show you the Falcon which can both fly and go underwater.
	The ship doesn't seem too sturdy...
After miserably failing in going underwater without leaking, Raile says to come to Shaia Lab 3 to the west to repair the ship. Instead, let's go to Forfeit Island! Just sail north from Lyden to reach it.
	Forfeit Island has some interesting shops. One has everything you've ever sold! Another you can't leave until you buy something. If you're feeling brave and are around level 30+ (I recommend level 37+), you can head to Grenoble for the last level of the Old Cave. These monsters are the ones you fought in the intro with Maxim. They are very difficult at this point in the game.
You'll need to collect the Crown Jewels. Go down to the 7th floor of the Old Cave.
	Head east and go down the stairs seen in the picture.
Head to the northwest corner and go up the stairs.
	Walk east and through the door.
Walk north and climb up the rope ladder. Open the chests to get the Crown Jewels. Return to Grenoble and collect your 10000 Gold. You've now finished the Old Cave!
	If you can brave the 7th floor, you can accomplish another side task: climb the Tower of Light which is to the west of the Lab (walkthrough) and open the chest where the Light Key usually is to get a Might Helm. After this, sail far northewest of Shaia Lab 3 to get to Erpo. Shop there for some very nice equipment then head back to Shaia Lab 3.
In the lab, Raile will tell you that you'll need to find Cooper in the Cleric's Hut in Bakku to the west of the Lab (near the Tower of Light). Now head for Baku.
