Celes is the third most used person in my group. Why you ask? Well it's simple. She is the most balanced person in the entire game. Yes, it's true! She's strong, she can use the most powerful weapons and armor, she has strong magic ability, and she has runic, which is definitely priceless. Celes was one of the first people ever to be infused with power from the espers. She was infused with magic when she was a baby, and raised by Cid to become a magitek knight. She made it up to the rank of General while she was still in her teens, but she realized that the war they were fighting was stupid, and she rebelled. The empire was about to kill her, but luckily Locke showed up and saved her(the South Figaro part, duh). Anyways, this is just my romantic side coming out again, but I believe that Celes is also in love with Locke, but she is jealous of Locke's remaining love for his dead girlfriend Rachel. But again, that's just MY opinion. :-)
