Merkava and getting the Xenogears

Items found at Merkava: None

What the hell is on this gear's head?

Head East, upgrade anything you haven't equipped and buy Ether Ars +3 (I HIGHLY suggest doing these steps). Go back, save your game, then head North to face Ramsus for the last time. Coincidence or not, this is also by far the toughest of all Ramsus' battles. You cannot evade the Wave #3 Demiser, so use Frame HPs on 2 gears immediately and attack him with Level 1 Deathblows (and System Id, of course). Don't bother about booster or about if the remaining gear with 1 HP fails (If you heal all 3 gears, Ramsus will use Wave #3 Demiser again), you'll be fighting another boss immediately with no chance to save or refuel, but the defeated gear will come back with a bit of HP. Try to keep the other 2 gears in a good condition, since after this battle you'll watch more scenes and fight Miang riding her Opiomorph. If you want to take the risk of healing all 3 gears, turn on booster (or have fast gears, like Crescens) and defeat Ramsus before he uses Wave #3 Demiser again.

Ow...Does that mean you could have kicked my ass if you weren't too busy healing Ramsus all the time?

This is possibly the hardest boss of the game, but if you equipped the Ethers Ars +3, they'll be helpful now. If you let one of the gears die in the last battle, heal it immediately. Miang's Wave #4 Devastator damages you according to how much damage you do to her, meaning if you stay still recharging your fuel there's a good chance she won't even damage you at all. This might take a while, but at least restore a bit of Weltall-2's fuel while using weak triangle attacks with the 2 other gears. Repeat this process until the 2 gears have Level 3 or infinity deathblows, then turn on System Id, and go for it (Make sure you time your hits because you're getting lots of damage on her nexts Wave #4 Devastators). Note that Opiomorph has only 22000 HP, so try calculating how much need you beat her, and watch out when her HP gets too low (She'll start damaging you a lot even if you stop attacking her). After this nearly-impossible battle, you'll watch lots of scenes and save your game (You don't want to fight Ramsus and Miang again, do you?), then re-equip before fighting Id.

Ok, forget about Amphysvena's head...Now this is bizarre :O

Id is extremely easy this time (even without your Omnigears). Turn on booster and attack him until he's down. After some more scenes, you'll fight True Weltall with your last gear, the Xenogears. This battle is a bit harder (you don't have System Id anymore), but it's still a piece of cake compared to the Merkava battles. Just use your best deathblows (Xenogears had a high rate for getting infinity level deathblows) until Grahf is down. After that, more FMVs and story details will be shown until you're finally controlling your characters again at the Crashed Shevat.
