This battle may seem like a joke, it ain't hard, but it takes time since the chemists tend to heal themselves with Potions, Hi-Potions, X-Potions and Elixirs.  Orlandu and Meliadoul's sword techs work well here.  Just stay out of Beowulf's way since he's likely to cast Don't Act. Auto-Potion should heal your wounds.
