Welcome to the Nation of Escargot? What took you so long to get here? You've been as slow as a snail! ...Anyway, you won't be able to walk around in the desert yet, so just go west until you reach the town of Fly, or Fly Port, or Fry Port, or whatever the game feels like calling it at the time. The only things you should buy here are the Ceramic Helmet and Bolt 3. In the house in the southeast, you can find the Cutter Sword. |
Continuing heading to the west, and you'll reach the obligatory RPG cape. You'll encounter Magus Cadmium here, one of Bio-Haz' top dudes. After talking some evil talk with you, he'll give you some mint leaves, which allow you to walk across the desert. O...K... |
In the middle of the desert, you'll come across Torte Village. You'll probably want to buy the Bigcut Sword, Ceramic Armor, Ceramic Shield, Flame 4 and Guard. In the big house to the north, you'll come across Microwave and her crazily named family. Microwave will join you in your quest to rid the world of evil. |
First thing's first, you'll want to get the Zap 1 spell. There's a building in Torte Village that leads to a basement where Zap 1 is stored. This building is in the northeast corner of town. |

This dungeon is confusing, especially if you don't know what's going on. Every time you step on one of these panels, the door switches which wall it's on. You may want to consult the map in the map section. Hopefully, you should eventually come across the Zap 1 spell. At this point, you'll probably be sick of this place, so use Escape to leave quickly. |
North of the desert, head west, then follow the path southward until you come across this cave. Before entering, be sure you have the Zap 1 spell equipped. |
The guard here cannot be beaten unless you cast Zap 1 on him. Keep casting Zap 1 until it's effective and enter the cave. |
This place isn't half as annoying as the last dungeon you were in, but these Maxigrems can be annoying. Check the map if you're afraid of missing treasure or getting lost and make your way through the cave. The Wig you find here is actually more powerful than your Ceramic Helmet, so equip it when you get it. |
At the end of the cave, Cadmium will pull a DragonLord and ask you if you want to join the side of evil instead of fighting. It's actually pretty funny to say yes, so I suggest agreeing to his demands at first. |
Eventually, you'll have to tell him no, though. And when you do, he'll change his name to Cavity and attack. This is the hardest battle you've had to fight up to this point. Bolt Magic is useful, but there's no real trick to beating him other than keeping your HP high at all times. The spells "Guard" and "Power" may prove useful here. |

After Cadmium's annoying death speech, you'll get the key to a ship in Fly Port for some reason. Microwave will hurt her back somehow and crawl back on your back. All enemies in the cave will be gone now too, so you can get any treasures you missed. |
Return Microwave to her family in Torte Village and get the hell out of Dodge. |
Go to Fly Port, say your last goodbyes to the Nation of Escargot and climb in this boat and head to the Nation of Soup. |
