Feelin' Hot Hot Hot...

The first place you should go is, obviously, Cinnamon Village. Here you can buy a Foil, Copper Helmet and the Bolt 2 spell. After you're done shopping, go to the second floor of the inn. In the far-left room, you'll meet with Truffle, who is searching for Bio-Haz's weakness apparently. Talk to her and she'll join you.
South of Cinnamon Village is the oddly named "Pipe Valley" mountain. With Truffle in your party, you can cross, but you cannot hurt any of the local fauna. In other words, no attacking enemies or you'll be kicked out. They're easy enough to run away from, though.
I'm not sure how THIS makes sense, but whatever.
You should come across a Mountain Village. Buy the Tin Armor and the Heal 2 spell while you're here. In the northern part of town, you'll meet Ralph Nade... er, I mean Ralph Vader, who'll tell you stuff.
When you're done in the village, talk to this friendly fellow to be transported just south of the mountain. Talk to the other guy if you want to go back north of the mountain.
Just south of the mountain, head due west and you should come across Nutmeg Village. Poisonous fog is common here, so you won't be able to stay outside for long. Talk to Pappu here, and Truffle will leave you to work on creating a neutralizer to clean out Crater Lake, effectively stopping the poisonous fog and purifying the water. You should also buy a Katana, Copper Shield, Bronze Helmet and the Power spell while you're here, just be careful not to be outside with the fog.
Southeast of Nutmeg village is Hothot Village, where all the people are running around in a circle like chickens with their heads cut off. The stores are closed for now, so all you can do is talk. The only person you need to talk to is this girl, although talking to her can be as tricky as rocking a rhyme. Stand just outside her path and press A quickly as she runs by. She'll tell you the password to enter the forest to the west.
Time to go into the forest to the west. If you got the password, you'll be allowed in.
This is one of the most annoying places in the game, so you'll probably want to check out the map in the map section. The whole idea is that you're supposed to molest baby birds and have their mothers carry you around. Weird.
Make your way to the north, and you'll eventually get yourself the Flower.
Conveniently enough, Truffle finishes the Neutralizer just after you get the Flower.
Just north of Nutmeg Village is the path to Crater Lake. The idea is that you need to climb up the mountain in 10 seconds, and the Flower will help speed you up. Nibbling it doesn't hurt you, but only doubles your speed, while eating it quadruples your speed, but reduces your HP by 1/2. I'd Nibble it... it's not too hard to get up the mountain with some practice.
At the top, you'll need to fight Darts, who doesn't appreciate his precious toxification job being detoxified. Once again, Freeze 2 is very helpful, as is the Power spell. Keep your HP up and you shouldn't have too much trouble.
After the battle, Truffle will kick some ass, and you'll end up with the Water, which is apparently Bio-Haz's weakness. It'd probably be a good idea to hang on to this...
Return to Nutmeg Village, and you'll find the Escape Spell in Pappu's house. Now head back to Hothot Village. You can finally shop here, so buy yourself the Copper Armor at least.
In the southwest portion of town, they'll allow you to cross over to the Nation of Spaghetti. Say your goodbyes to Truffle, and she'll give you her Broach.
