Here's some stuff that doesn't belond anywhere...


The game uses some sort of counters to determine whether or not things will occur.  Here's what I think some of them are:

  • Greed Counter- The game seems to have a built in greed counter based off you responses to various npcs.  As the greed counter increases, certain npcs won't join you and some side quest won't open.  Examples of raising the counter would be asking Wood for pay.  This counter does exist to a certain degree because effects of greed can be seen throughout the game.

  • Event Counter- This counter determines whether or not some events will occur.  This counter has something to do with the Thieves's Scenario mainly.  Some people from the scene looked into it and saw it would randomly go up after battles.  It could also be the counter that determines what monsters you fight.
