Spike Reaverbot -- Calinca Mines, Pokte Caverns
This is one of the easiest bosses in the game. You can use the all-important strategy here: lock onto the giant Reaverbot and then proceed to run around him in circles, shooting the whole time. If you stand still, he will try to smash you. If you need health, etc., you can have the Reaverbot smash the various pillars in the room. Repeated shots at the spike in this Reaverbot's butt will take care of it.

Wolf Reaverbot -- Forbidden Island
This thing is pretty quick. Luckily, the battlefield is pretty wide, so you have plenty of time to know where it's going to be coming from. Its only attack is to leap into you, so just run to the side or dodge roll (L1/R1+X). Just lock on and keep taking shots at it.

Mammoth Reaverbot -- Forbidden Island
This Reaverbot may seem impossibly huge, but there's no need to worry as long as you keep your distance. If you continue to circle around it, you may suddenly find the it up close and in your face. Its first attack is to throw chunks of ice at you, which is easily dodged as long as you keep circling around the Reaverbot while firing. Another attack this Reaverbot has is to jump up and land, sending shockwaves in every direction. Jump just when it lands to come out of the attack unscathed. Just keep up with your circling strategy. Note that hiding behind the pillars is not a sufficient strategy, as it can easily break them. One attack it only uses after being damaged is when it lifts onto its back and shoots out a rather large laser. Keep moving, jumping as far as you can to avoid the laser.

When the Reaverbot is almost dead, it'll start throwing ice more rapidly and shoot lasers like crazy. Just keep circling and shooting.

Tron's Crabbot -- Pokte Village
Homing Missiles work well for this fight. You'll be facing a large, crab-like robot.

Tron has several varities of attacks. When she's spraying bullets while spinning in a circle, you should jump if the bullets are on the same level as you. If she shoots at you while she isn't spinning, you should run to the right or left, then back in the opposite direction to avoid the second round of fire. Finally, she has a ground pound move that sends out shockwaves when she hits the ground. Jump to avoid these, or better yet, use Homing Missiles to destroy her claws.

As usual, the strategy here is to shoot the Crabbot with Buster shots and Homing Missiles while circling, shooting, and dodging her attacks. After so much damage is dealt, she will begin to spin around the town, destroying most of the buildings. This attack seems impossible to prevent, so don't worry about it. However, make sure you stay locked on so you can move out of her path if she comes towards you. After that attack, it should only be a matter of time before she's finished.

Bola (first fight) -- Manda Ruins
The battle starts out with Frog Reaverbots dropping down from the ceiling. Deal with them as you normally would. After they're gone, you'll notice Bola has appeared in the center of the room. Just use your circle and shoot strategy that has gotten you this far in the game. He'll throw blades at you from his position, but if you're moving in a circle, he'll have a hard time landing a hit.

Bola (second fight) -- Manda Ruins
You're in a similar room to the one you fought Bola in the first time, but this time there are spinning, blade-like traps in the center of the room and each corner. They shouldn't be a problem to you right now. You should repeat the circle and shoot strategy you used on him the first time, dodging his attacks by never stopping your run.

Eventually, the traps in the room will start moving around. They'll either all be at the middle of a wall, or in one of the four corners. When they shift, they will all go to the middle of the room, then each one will move to either one of the four walls (if they were in a corner previously) or to one of the four corners (if they were at a a wall previously). Just keep shooting at Bola, making sure you're never in the way of a trap, and you'll have this battle won.

Manda Guardian -- Manda Ruins, Elysium
If you want to make this battle substantially easier, bring the Drill Arm.

Anyways, let me familiarize you with the arena. You're standing on one of four platforms in a small pit, which is surrounded by a ledge that runs around the walls. Traps will be moving around on this ledge, so it's advised to stay off of it as much as possible. There are also Larva Reaverbots in the pit, so it's probably not smart to go down their either, though they aren't too dangerous. This means you want to stay on the four pillars in the pit. Finally, there are random Dragonfly Reaverbots flying around, though the main problem with them is they might distract you from locking on to your main target--the giant frog Reaverbot.

The frog really only has three attacks. The first is to breathe bubbles at you from an adjacent pillar (it will never move off the pillars). These don't do much damage, and the buster shots you should be shooting at the frog from your pillar will destroy them. Its other attack is to whip its long tongue at you. It might move up and down, which you can avoid. If it sweeps at you from the side, jump. Its final attack is to jump from the pillar its on to the pillar you're at. Just jump to another pillar, quickly.

The easiest way to win this battle is to keep having the frog jump at you. Avoid the attack and lock on. Eventually, the frog will tip over, revealing its soft underside. This is your chance. Jump back to the same pillar as the frog and start drilling at its belly with your Drill Arm. It will do massive damage and probably kill the Reaverbot right then and there. Take the First Key it leaves behind.

Birdbot Carrier -- Nino Island
Bring the Buster Cannon.

You'll start off with two Birdbots directly in front of you. Take care of them first, then run left and along the platform. Shoot the carrier. Make sure not to let any disembarking Birdbots get too far away, or they'll start trying to get into the city. Just make sure they actually make it to the ground before you blast them.

Once the ship starts moving, beat it to the other side of the deck, where the Flutter's parked. Lock onto it, then begin firing Buster Cannon shots. Failing that, keep using the same strategy as before. If you ever hear Roll complaining, run to the door and shoot any Birdbots that may have sneaked past you. Don't worry if Johnny's ship is destroyed; while it's certainly possible to save him, he's okay and you don't get anything for doing so. Keep shooting at the carrier until it crashes and burns.

Birdbot Command Carrier -- Nino Island
Shoot the flying battleship as much as possible with the Buster Cannon. It's only real attack is to fly straight at you, which is easily dodged with a dodge roll (L1/R1+X). It can also shoot a machine gun at you, but that's nothing too serious. Always stay locked on, and only take a shot with the cannon when you know it'll hit.

Large-Sized Sharukurusus -- Kito Caverns
You'll be facing two Large-Sized Sharukurusus, possibly the most deadly Reaverbots in the game. You'll encounter them if you venture deep enough into the Calbania Ruins.

These guys basically just run at you and claw. The best tactic is to use the circle and shoot strategy. Just make sure not to get hit, as they know how to hurt you. If you see one coming at you, JUMP. They have long life bars, but not a very good defense. Not TOO hard...

Glyde's Mother Ship -- Nino Island
Not really a boss battle...but bring the Buster Cannon anyway. If you're not confident, you might want to bring the Aqua Blaster instead.

Glyde's mother ship is out of reach, and the weapon Roll's working on has broken down. Basically, you've got to defend the machine for a set amount of time. Glyde will continuously shoot missiles at you, but you can take them out by locking on and shooting, preferrably with the Buster Cannon. If you brought the Aqua Blaster instead, use it if the machine ever catches on fire. Once the time runs out, you've won.

Nino Guardians (no water) -- Nino Ruins, Elysium
I'm going to assume that there isn't any water in the room and that you brought along the Drill Arm.

The only thing these three jellyfish can do to you without their precious water is shoot small balls of electricty. The best way to take them out is to just run up to them and drill away with the Drill Arm. Don't worry about taking a hit--if you do, you'll be fine. Just wait for the electricity to fade a bit before you go back to drilling.

Klaymoor (first fight) -- Nino Ruins
Another incredibly easy battle (at least if you brought the Drill Arm).

Klaymoor basically just stands in one spot and shoots bullets at you. He'll call out "Hey, hey, hey!" right before he does it as a warning. When he yells "This will slow you down!", he's shooting electric spheres that will paralyze you if you don't have the Light Barrier. He's really not that much to worry about. If you brought the Drill Arm, run up to him and go at it with the drill. If not, just use the tried and true circle and shoot strategy.

Klaymoor (second fight) -- Nino Ruins
The only difference between this battle and the last is that Klaymoor has a couple more useless attacks. When he yells "Top this!", he's throwing a frisbee-like disc at you that's easily jumped over. His second new attack is announced by "Ho, ho, ho!", when he'll fire bombs out that will fall on you. Keep running to avoid it. His last new attack is used only when he's weak, and is announced by "This one's for you!". He'll fire two blue lasers at you that you'll need to jump over to dodge.

To defeat him the easy way, use the Drill Arm. Otherwise, circle and shoot.

Nino Guardians (underwater) -- Nino Ruins, Kimotama Caverns
You'll have to face these guys if you decide to go down to the Kimotama Caverns on Saul Kada Island. There's not really one special weapon that will help you more than another in this fight.

There is a specific strategy to these jellyfish. You see, when two jellyfish are killed, the last becomes much harder to beat. So you should lock onto a specific jellyfish and blast at it until it only has about one third to a fourth of its life left, and do the same with the other two jellyfish. When the first two are destroyed, the last one will only have a little bit of life left.

They bring back the electricity ball attack from your last fight, but underwater, they can also charge at you, which will paralyze you if you don't have the Light Barrier. When there's only one jellyfish left, it will start dropping mines that can be destroyed by shooting at them. It will also use its shield a lot more.

Bonne Cannon -- Kimotama City
The first thing you should do is blast at the smaller cannons around the big one. Once they're all gone, the rest is easy. Jump over the fence and get behind the large cannon and shoot at it continuously. It won't even be able to target you from that position.

The Blitzkrieg (Teisel) -- Kimotama City
See that gold statue on the Blitzkrief's back? You don't want to blast that. However, even after just a single shot, he will lower the statue, using it as a shield. So you can't really get in more than one hit at a time. I recommend bringing the Buster Cannon.

The battle will start out with you in the sand. Not only do Servbot Borers occassionally charge at you down here, but the sand will slow you down immensely, so for now, it's a good idea to jump onto one of the four platforms around the center platform.

The Blitzkrief's primary attack is to launch junk (yes, junk) at you. This can easily be avoided by hiding behind the pillar on whichever platform you're on. His other attack is to throw two electric discs at you, which are also easily avoided. Also, watch out for the Servbot Borers on the sand below that will launch themselves up at you.

The best strategy here is to shoot a single Buster Cannon shot at the Blitzkrieg, wait for it to expose itself again, then rinse and repeat. If you ever run out of ammo, the next best thing is to get down in the sand, lock onto the Blitzkrieg, and run around the center platform, jumping up and firing one or two shots in mid-air. This method may be slow, but it works.

Alternately, you can just shoot at it all day and destroy the statue. Afterwards, Teisel will jump into the sand, firing drill missiles. You'll have to pay five-thousand zenny for the statue, though.

Stalactite -- Saul Kada Ruins
Yes, your opponent is the large, inanimate rock hanging down from the ceiling, so don't go after Tron and/or Bon. If you do try to damage them, not only will you find they can't die, but they'll start attacking you back. You can shoot at the rock, if you like, but its health bar slowly regenerates, so it's kind of pointless. The key is to shoot the Reaverbots running around the room until they fall onto their side. From there, you can use the Lifter to pick them up and throw them at the stalactite, and that's how you damage it. The Bonnes can also pick fallen Reaverbots up, but they can't knock them over. The best thing to do is to knock three of them down, one for you and one each for the Bonnes. Note that Tron or Bon have to be the ones to deal the last hit to the stalactite.

Saul Kada Guardian -- Saul Kada Ruins
When you first meet this boss, he'll be invincible. However, once you drop the stalactite in a nearby room, the lava in the boss's chamber will have drained and made it fall to all fours. Now you can damage it. The best special weapon here is the Hyper Shell.

The giant Reaverbot actually has quite a few attacks. Its first is to slam its head on the ground. That in itself is dangerous enough, but it also causes a shockwave that you'll have to jump over. It can also send blue rings of energy at you. There can be a lot of them, so you might need to shoot some to get rid of them. It can also breathe flames, but you're safe as long as you're not in front of the Reaverbot. If you get too close to the dinosaur, it will swat you away with one of its hand. Finally, when it's weak, it can shoot fireballs that will burn you if you don't have the Flame Barrier. As an added note, sometimes lava rocks may fall from the ceiling.

The best strategy is to lock onto the dinosaur and run underneath its belly, where all you can see is the Reaverbot's chin. Continuously blast it, staying under it. This is also a good time to use Hyper Shell shots.

The Gustaff (Tron) -- Saul Kada Ruins
If you played Misadventures of Tron Bonne, you'll recognize this modified version of the Gustaff. Anyway, bring the Hyper Shell into this battle.

First, her attacks. She can fire a machine gun at you. Circling around her is the best way to avoid it. She also sometimes fires two bombs at you that will catch on fire once they hit the ground, momentarily igniting the battlefield. She also has a flamethrower, which can be avoided by circling. Though her Servbots sometimes throw bombs at you, they will chase you down and rapidly chuck them if Tron ever fires a Beacon Bomb onto you.

The first thing you should do is take out the Servbots. They'll get back up momentarily, but that's one less thing you have to worry about for the time being. Tron will sometimes hold up the Gustaff's shield, in which case she's invulnerable. When the shield is down, shoot her with the Hyper Shell a few times and she should be toast.

Bon Bonne -- Saul Kada Ruins
This fight's pretty easy. Bring the Hyper Shell.

Bon's attacks are simplistic. His first is to launch his hands at you. You can shoot them away, or you can use the Lifter to pick them up. His next attack is to turn his head into a drill and chase after you. Just run from this one. Finally, he may launch his hands, attached electrically. They will seek you out, but they are easily shot away.

The strategy here is to just blast him with a few shots of the Hyper Shell. Not hard at all. You can also use the Lifter to throw him into the lava. After the battle, if the key falls into the lava, make sure you grab it!

The Gemeinshaft (Glyde's car) -- Yosyonke
First off, notice that Roll's car has its own life gauge. If it ever reaches zero, it's game over. So try to absorb as many hits yourself as possible. Bring the Hyper Shell for this one.

The first part of the battle has the back of Glyde's car, a triple cannon, shooting bombs at you. Manually aim, and once you're close enough, start shooting. Once it's destroyed, you'll move closer to the car.

The turrets on top of the train can be destroyed, but it's up to you. Your target is the actual wall of Glyde's car. To damage it, you'll have to shoot without locking on. Hyper Shell blasts work here, but save some for later. Watch out for the car's last ditch effort to get at you--it will shoot a blue laser from the side cannon that moves from side to side. Jumping rapidly works well. Once you've depleted the life gauge, Glyde's car will be released. See the next boss for how to deal with the Bonnes's car.

The Gemeinshaft (Bonnes's car) -- Yosyonke
This battle takes place immediately after taking out Glyde's car, so hopefully you still have some Hyper Shell ammo left.

First off, if your range is high enough, there's a possibility you might be able to hit the back of the Bonnes's car from where you're at. If not, then switch to the Lifter. The Bonnes will be sending Servbots riding on guided missiles at you. The missiles will hit in one of two ways. The first is that they will come at you from above in an arc. Unless you want Roll to absorb the blow, you'll want to let it hit you. However, if the missile comes straight at you, then use the Lifter to pick the Servbot missile up. Lock onto the Bonne's car and throw the missile back. After doing this several times, Roll will catch up to the Bonnes.

First of all, there is a rather large plasma cannon on top of the Bonne car. Its blasts are pretty strong, but luckily you can stop it. Just lock on and shoot it before it fires to disable the shot (one Hyper Shell should also work). Servbots will sometimes walk out on the car and chuck bombs at you. If this happens, shoot the cannon with a Hyper Shell to stop its shot and knock off the Servbots. Between plasma shots, manually aim Buster shots at the body of the car.

Eventually, the shell of the car will explode, revealing the engine--Bon. Servbots may still attempt to bomb you, but at this point, you're just a few shots at Bon away from never having to face the pirates again.

Calinca Guardian -- Calinca Ruins, Elysium
When you see this guy the first time, it'll be both harmless and invulnerable. However, when you attempt to leave, it will become hostile. Take along the Hyper Shell and make sure you have Asbestos Shoes equipped.

For most of the battle, the blob Reaverbot will chase you around the room. Just run from it, taking potshots when you see a good opening. If you get near the doors, it will shoot small blobs at you, so watch for that. Eventually, it'll head to the center of the area, grow into a tall column, then spread out its ooze in a wide radius. Run to the doors, getting as far away from it as possible, and you'll be just fine. Once that attack's over, take a shot with the Hyper Shell before it starts chasing you again.

Soon, the floor will start glowing. This is your cue. Roll will warn you, and you should jump onto a platform in one of the corners. Then, jump onto the square-shaped bridge of platforms with a hole in the center. These won't break, so don't worry. The Reaverbot will rise to your level and start shooting large chunks of gooze at you. If you fall off the platform, you'll find yourself standing in the equivilant of lava--if you don't have the Flame Barrier, you'll catch on fire. Run in a circle around the platform, shooting at the Reaverbot as much as possible. Soon, the floor will stop glowing and the platforms will disappear.

Once you've taken off enough of the blob's health, it will start chasing you maniacally. At this point, don't worry about shooting and just RUN. Soon, it will tire out and all the gel will melt off the center of the Reaverbot momentarily. This is your chance to get in some REAL damage. You may not be able to finish it off before it reforms, but just keep running until it melts again and this battle's done.

Geetz -- Sulphur-Bottom
You'll be fighting Geetz in his Reaverbot form. It'll serve you well to bring the Hyper Shell (no rhyme intended).

Geetz will spend most of the battle flying around the Sulphur-Bottom, just out of your range. His first attack is to swoop down on you. He'll call "Prepare yourself!" right before he does this, and Tron will advise you to jump. Do so. His next attack is to swoop just above you while firing purple spheres of energy. Dodge rolls (L1/R1+X) work well here. Finally, he may glow red and swoop over you, leaving explosions in his wake. Dodge rolls work here as well. Generally, you should take potshots at Geetz whenever he's close enough to do so without you being put in danger.

When half of his life gauge is depleted, he will shoot down the Bonnes. Once he is weak, he will land on top of the Sulphur-Bottom. At this point, he's a sitting duck. However, don't get too close; he can whip you with his tail or breathe flames at you.

Sera (first fight) -- Elysium
This boss isn't tough. What's tough is that you'll be facing a harder boss right after this battle, so you'll want to conserve your health and try not to use any of your items. Bring along the Shining Laser.

We'll go over her many attacks first. When she calls "Ready?", she will launch herself towards you, surrounded by fire. You can jump or roll out of the way, but odds are she'll just barely miss you. When she calls "Well, Trigger?", she's going to fire yellow fireballs at you. Keep jumping around in a circle to avoid these. If you're quick enough, you won't get hit, but it's unlikely. Her third attack is announced by her yelling "Ha!". She will create blue energy lances that she will toss at you in a row that explode on contact. Jump sideways as far as you can to avoid them.

Her final and most annoying attack is very difficult to dodge. She'll yell "How's this?", and the entire room will glow red. The gravity will increase while the room glows. She will then cause a shockwave. Jump the INSTANT the shockwaves form. You have to have excellent timing to completely jump over the shockwaves, but it can be done. Afterwards, lock onto the mines she's sent flying around the room and blast them before they have the chance to reach you. She'll probably perform this attack repeatedly.

The strategy here, as usual, is to circle and shoot. Unless she's using her gravity/shockwave/bomb attack, in which case, you'll want to shoot her as much as you can when she first appears. Use Buster shots or the Shining Laser, whichever does more damage.

Sera (second fight) -- Elysium
This is the final battle. Beat Sera and you've completed the game. Hopefully, you still have plenty of health items left and you brought along the Shining Laser.

First of all, let me say that Sera has the ability to teleport around the battlefield, but only around the edges. She will quickly flash back and forth in an effort to confuse you, but it should be okay as long as you keep scanning the area with the lock on button held down.

Her first attack to shoot many lasers down at the ground. She'll warn you with a shout of "Gotcha!". While this attack isn't that dangerous, it is dangerous to get under her at this time. Also, if you're low on health, you might want to heal up. There's a possibility that you may get hit multiple times by this attack and your last hit point will be knocked out before you have the chance to heal up.

When Sera yells "Feel my power!", she's going to slam the ground with her arms. It will hurt if you're under her wings when they come down. However, it will send a wide purple shockwave outwards. The only reliable way to dodge this is to dodge roll (L1/R1+X). Even then, though, you'll need to have good timing. Her next attack is announced by "Let's find out.". She will send meteors raining down from the sky. You'll need to constantly keep moving around the battlefield to avoid being hit. Stay locked on while you run though--you may be able to get in a couple of potshots. She may also charge across the battlefield in an attempt to turn you into roadkill. Finally, she has an extremely devastating laser attack that is announced by "What's the matter?". The laser will sweep over the battlefield a total of three times. The first time, it will completely pass over you, but after that, you'll need to jump.

Sera's last ditch attack only comes into play later in the battle. She'll cause a block hole of sorts to appear, which will begin to suck you towards it. You can pull away from it if you're far away when it hits, but otherwise, your movement will become very restricted. It causes no damage directly, but it lasts long enough for Sera to use other attacks. It's especially devastating if she uses her meteor attack or laser while the black hole is in effect.

You should use a run-and-gun technique to get in potshots at Sera whenever you can. If the Shining Laser is more powerful than your regular Buster shots, then use it as much as possible, but only when you're sure you can do so without taking a hit in the process. Keep it up, conserve healing items, take potshots, and you'll come out on top. Congratulations! You've completed Megaman Legends 2!
