	Before you head to Kashuon, buy Guy and Maria the Life spell. Make sure all 3 attack spells are at least Level 2. To get to Kashuon, either have Cid take you on the Airship, or head southeast from Bofsk to the big circle of mountains. Head east and find the gap in the mountains, where you can head west to another circle of mountains and Kashuon Castle. Save and enter.
Monsters here so far are about the same as before. Use the Goddess Bell at the door to unlock it. Go forward a bit and you will run into Gordon. He says that he was trying to find the Egil Torch but the monsters are too strong. He joins the party. Gordon is quite weak, and will not fare well here. Exit the castle and walk directly south to a Chocobo Forest. Grab one and ride it back to Altea.
	Buy Gordon a Mithril Spear and a Silver Armor. This is a good chance to do some leveling up. Use low level magic on Gordon (your attacks will be too much for him) to get his HP up. This will also level up your magic a bit. Work everybody's HP to above 350, and Gordon's Spear attack to at least level 2. When ready, have Frioniel re-equip the Mithril Sword (accuracy will be important) rest, and head back to Kashuon.
Go back to where you found Gordon. Continue and take the stairs to the other side of the first floor. Right will take you to a Cure book (give this to Gordon). Go left and take the stairs up. From here on, monsters get tougher. You will run into a few Land Turtles. Take care of them with Ice3. From the stairs, go down and right and work you way around to the stairs, grabing the 300 G on your way.
	Work your way around to the middle area with the columns. Take the 2nd path leading down to get the Gold Shield, which is guarded by Warerats. Kill them and give the Gold Shield to Frioniel. Head back to the middle area and take the last path leading down on the right and follow to the stairs leading up.
Take a left from there and go down to the first room you see. There are 3 chests with a Mithril Sword/Axe, and a Were Cane. Grab them and head from there, up and left. Ignore the door and head down and take the stairs going up again.
	Go up and take a right. Follow and take the first down to this chest with a Gold Armor inside, which is guarded by Mines. Kill the Mines with Fire2 or Bolt2 and give the Gold Armor to Maria and her Mithril Armor to Gordon. Go down from there and take a left to the stairs going back down to the 4th floor.
Take the door to the left and walk to the guardian of the Egil Torch, the Red Soul. This boss can be a bit tough, but not really. All his magic are Level 8, but they shouldn't do too much. Your magic and normal attacks don't do much, but stick with normal. Heal when needed, and after about 4 spells, he will have no more MP, and his normal attacks are nothing. Keep attacking and the Egil Torch will soon be yours.
	Walk back down to the first floor. Use the Egil Torch on the Sun Flame to recieve it. You step outside and you will notice Cid's Airship is being chased by the Warship. Head back to Altea via Chocobo. Talk to Mihn and he will say that Princess Hilda wanted to visit the part at Kashuon and went with Cid and the Airship, but was taken prisoner by the Empire. The Warship landed north of Phin for repairs. Now is your chance!
